REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS

The T.I.P.S. parenting class involves the following:

  • Reading The Parents Toolshop book on your own. It is 456 pages and written at about a fifth-grade reading level. The instructor will offer suggestions for moving through it quickly. The practice exercises at the end of each chapter are optional, but if you do them, it will greatly improve how well you learn and master the skills. Read the first 3 chapters BEFORE the first class.
  • Actively participating in FUN INTERACTIVE activities and games, group discussions, problem solving (personalized and group) and practice exercises.

You can register by mail/fax (with a printed form) or on-line (with secure credit card processing).

When we receive your registration form, we’ll send you any other forms you need, such as a RELEASE OF INFORMATION FORM or PARENTING SKILL ASSESSMENT, which we use to write progress reports.  (Choose one and complete all questions Tots (ages 1-5), Tweens (ages 6-11), Teens (ages 12-18).)

Your registration reserves your space. You can bring the other forms to the first class. Please arrive 15 minutes early the first session to turn in any paperwork or outstanding payments, so we can start promptly at 6 p.m. Keep in mind that there is no child care available, unless specified.

If you have other questions, call 937-748-4541.
