HOME STUDY PROGRAM FOR PARENTS: $24.95

This Home Study program involves:

  • Read The Parents Toolshop®: The Universal Blueprint for Building a Healthy Family book. ($24.95)

  • Complete and submit the practice exercises at the end of each chapter. For your convenience, we'll send each one to you by e-mail so you can simply reply to each one, type in your answers and send them. When you order the home study program, choose the age range of your child and you will only complete the practice exercises that are relevant for that range. See order page for details.

  • Complete and submit a final review (about 50 questions).

  • Receive a "Graduation" certificate. Now you are a Parents Toolshop® Graduate:

CEU HOME STUDY FOR PROFESSIONALS: $75

FAMILY-SERVICE PROFESSIONALS: EARN CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS by taking the Parents Toolshop CEU Home Study course. This home study course is just one of many Parents Toolshop® training programs that offer Continuing Education Credits (CEUs). CLICK HERE for more details.

This home study involves:

 

  1. Reading The Parents Toolshop® book.

  2. Completing and submitting a final review (about 50 questions) and a CEU evaluation form.

  3. Receive a CEU & Toolshop® "Graduation" certificate.

    • Approved for Continuing Education Credits for the Certified Family Life Educator program through the National Council on Family Relations. This training offers 31 contact hours or 3.1 CFLE CEUs.

    • Ohio Social Worker, Counselor and MFT Board has approved this training for 10 clock hours through 8/2007 for Counselors, SWs and MFTs.

* Be sure to order the CEU edition of the Home Study Training so your submissions meet CEU requirements.

 

ADD-ON: PERSONALIZED AUTHOR SERVICE $74.95, valued at $475 (based on the author's consultation fees)

The author will personally:

  • Review your assignments

  • Conduct a pre/post skill assessment* and
  • Write a personalized progress report that interprets the pre/post skill assessment results, offers positive feedback about the parents skill improvement and strengths and, in the post assessment, recommendations for continued improvement.

* NOTE: This skill assessment tool has over 10 years of outcome results that prove its effectiveness. The tool has been defended multiple times in a court of law to prove it's accuracy and validity in determining a parent's skill improvement. If you are involved in a parental custody case (divorce or protective service), this report provides documentation, beyond a simple paper certificate, that the parent completed a rigorous course of independent study and tangible proof of parenting skill improvement.

 

DEADLINE: You have up to six months to complete the home study, but can complete it sooner. If you have not completed it by six months from the purchase date, you will not receive a completion/graduation certificate and your status will be listed as “Incomplete.”
