  • Adoption.com - The largest Adoption site on the internet.
  • Adoptioninformation.com - Provides unbiased information and resources for all with an interest in or connection to adoption and foster care, whether in the family setting or from an academic or professional standpoint.
  • Adoption Option Guide: Free adoption articles to help you learn what your adoption options are, along with other quality sites of interest.
  • American Academy of Pediatrics website - The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and its member pediatricians dedicate their efforts and resources to the health, safety and well-being of infants, children, adolescents and young adults.
  • Catholic Social Services of the Miami Valley, where Jody Pawel was the coordinator for the Family Count Project (no longer available) and The Parent's Toolshop was field developed/tested.
  • Center for the Improvement of Child Caring (CICC)  was established in 1974 and has grown to become one of America's largest and most influential parenting and parenting education organizations, featuring a parent education curriculum and parent educator training for culturally-specific populations, specifically Spanish-speaking and African-American families.

  • Dad On Board: Lou Bortone is a freelance writer and father of 9-year-old boy/girl twins.  In his monthly "Dad on Duty" columns, Lou offers a father's perspective on the trials, tribulations and triumphs of parenting – all with tongue firmly implanted in cheek.  
  • EFT-Emotional Freedom Technique: EFT is a new discovery that has provided thousands with relief from pain, diseases and emotional issues.  Read more about it, the research results, real case studies, articles, free e-newsletter and training videos and audios. The basic manual is free.

  • MovieMom: When you wonder about the appropriateness of a movie, go to www.MovieMom.com and read a review.
  • National Council on Family Relations (NCFR) provides a forum for family researchers, educators, and practitioners to develop and disseminate knowledge about families and family relationships and establishes professional standards.  NCFR sponsors the Certified Family Life Educator program.
  • National Effective Parenting Initiative (NEPI) advocates, celebrates and promotes effective parenting and parent education in the U.S. Sign their petition to show your commitment to being the best parent you can be and to seeking out and receiving the best possible parenting education.
