Only certified Parents Toolshop^® instructors are authorized to teach the Universal Blueprint^® problem-solving method and its 100+ practical tools to others, in one-on-one or group settings.

Parents Toolshop^®principles and skills are based on sound parenting theories that have been known to parent educators for decades and include the most practical and effective parenting tools every parent needs to know and use. With over 10 years outcome-focused skill assessment results and long-term follow-up, the Parents Toolshop^®model, featuring the Universal Blueprint^®Parenting Success Formula, has been proven effective with thousands of parents nationwide.

Parent’s Toolshop Leadership Certification

Parents Toolshop Consulting, Ltd. offers comprehensive advanced parent educator certification training for professionals who want to regularly use The Parent’s Toolshop copyrighted materials to design and deliver family life education programs and services to diverse populations in a variety of settings.

Types of Parents Toolshop Leadership

There are FOUR major typed of Parents Toolshop Leaders (PTLeaders). Click the links to learn more details about each:

Advisors (Three Classification Levels):

1. Level I Advisor: Consultants (who have no license, certification or specialized training in parenting other than Parents Toolshop books/training)

2. Level II: Certified Family Professionals (have a license, certificate or degree)

There are two types of Level II Advisors:
a. Certified Coaches
b. Licensed/Certified Family Professionals (CFLE, LSW).

3. Level III Advisors: Licensed Independent Practitioners (have license, certificate or degree and an independent practice already established.)

Group Facilitators (Four Classification Levels):

PTC Group Facilitator Consultants (schedule/teach through PTC)
Independent Group Facilitator Consultants (schedule/teach groups through own private practice)
Associate Group Facilitators (schedule/teach through their employer)
Supporting Group Facilitators (only present topic programs, not full-length series)
