• What we can do today to make tomorrow and every day after go smoother.
• Respond to the 5 most common morning hassles parents experience in quick, proven – effective ways, so you aren’t running late each day!

If you have a child who is a slow waker, dawdles, is distracted, defiant or delays, you want to attend this session!

  • Practical solutions to The Top Ten Bedtime Hassles most parents experience.

  • How to handle the four types of tantrums.

  • How to make bedtime a fun, pleasant experience for everyone.

The Resource Package includes:

  • The recording of the topic discussion and Question & Answer session.

  • A Handout of The Keys to Preventing and Stopping Misbehavior

  • Links to 3 articles on the topics listed above.

We have had 6 years of opposition to going to bed with every excuse known to man and usually some sort of angry outburst/misbehavior. So after class this week, I read word-for-word your bedtime advice article and teleseminar package {this package}. The next night was completely different. I did what you said and he looked at me and said, "OK". Then he walked himself to bed quietly as if he had been waiting his whole life for me to say those words. He did not come out of his room and was asleep within 5 minutes! I am still a little freaked out about it, but it has been working and we are so relieved! I wish I could say we are ecstatic too, but we are too tired from six years of bedtime struggles:-) — Mary Mancuso, OH

Getting Back Talk? Let's Talk   I want this resource ($10)

This March. 2008 call we discussed practical tips for how to:

  • Prevent children from using back talk, rudeness and smart-alecky remarks with you and other adults.

  • Understand why kids today often act and talk this way. “We would have never talked to our parents this way!”

  • Recognize when “sass” is intentional or not…and how to respond to each type of problem.

  • Respond assertively, effectively and without defensiveness, because what our parents did and said won’t work with today’s kids. In fact, it will make matters worse.

  • We also discussed some tips for teaching children anger management skills.

The Resource Package includes:

  • The recording of the topic discussion and Question & Answer session.
